The Program Executive Office for Land Systems (PEO-LS) would like to invite interested National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) members to participate in the Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) Technology Demonstrator (TD) Industry Day to be held January 16, 2019 from 0900-1200 at the United States Marine Corps Transportation Demonstration Support Area (TDSA), Building 28009 George Mason Road, Quantico, VA 22134. The purpose of the Industry Day is to enable interested NAMC members to access several static displays of MTVRs in order to become more familiar with the platform. The Request for Prototype Proposal (RPP) is seeking engineering services to develop a prototype MTVR TD system that will demonstrate potential upgrades to the MTVR TD while maintaining current program’s operational requirements and fuel efficiency requirements.
The inclusion of the upgraded technologies into the prototype MTVR TD will explore ways that will increase the service life of the MTVR to the year 2042 while increasing or optimizing crew survivability associated with roll-over protection, fuel efficiency, and maintainability of the platform while maintaining mobility, transportability, and mission effectiveness through quantification of the overall performance of the vehicle system against the original performance specification. This data will then be used to aid in the definition of future requirements and costs for decisions on MTVR Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) upgrade options.
Although this Industry Day is open to interested NAMC members, only United States citizens are invited to participate as the event will be held on a secure facility. This event is in support of the RPP-19-05 solicitation currently open for proposal submissions until 31 January 2019.
This event will consist of the following:
0830 – 0900: Registration
0900 – 0930: Briefing overview of the MTVR Technology Demonstrator Effort
0930 – 1200: Access to static vehicles
At the conclusion of the MTVR TD Industry Day, a list of attendees will be posted to the FedBizOpps website that will identify the attending companies, their points of contact, and their interest as a prime contractor or subcontractor. Should a person not want to be included in the list of attendees, they must disclose that in their registration e-mail. Additionally, any questions submitted in writing during the event will be posted on the NAMC website along with the PEO-LS response.
To secure registration to the MTVR TD Industry Day and allow for access to the USMC TDSA facility, attendees MUST provide the following information to Mr. Walter Kelley by 1600 EDT on January 11, 2019. Due to security requirements, all interested NAMC parties must be U.S. citizens. No foreign nationals will be allowed in the secure facility.

This invitation to participate in the MTVR TD Industry Day Conference does not constitute an invitation for bid or Request for Project Proposal (RPP) outside of the current RPP-19-05. The Government is under no obligation to award any related contract associated with this event.
The Government will not reimburse contractors for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. Participation in the MTVR TD Industry Day is voluntary. The Government will not reimburse the MTVR TD Industry Day attendees for any costs associated with participation. This Industry Day and/or the information presented herein will not obligate the Government in any manner. The posted information is provided for planning purposes only. Dress will be business casual as the vehicles are working vehicles and may have exposed grease. Closed toe shoes must be worn at all times. There is no fee to attend. Lunch will be the responsibility of the attendees.
