The U.S. Army — via the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) — has issued a Request for Project Proposals (RPP) to develop a wearable diagnostic capability for the pre-/very early-symptomatic detection of COVID-19 infection.

It is expected that MTEC will make up to 10 awards to qualified teams to accomplish the identified statements of work.

The Army and MTEC anticipate a period of performance of nine months and they have $20 million in funding.

The solicitation is here — https://www.mtec-sc.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/20-12-COVID19_Diagnostics-RPP-1.pdf — and Enhanced White Paper proposals are due on 13 May 2020.
